Our CATHARSIS "Wish List"

Would participating in any of these ways bring you joy?

Do you resonate with our vision for “Changing How Mental Healthcare Happens” via highly sensitive healing? Do you have a few hours available each month to spend in a meaningful way with wonderful people?

Since there’s only one of me, a handful of Board members, and a lot of work to be done to launch CATHARSIS, we are looking for volunteers to join us!

Here is our current wish list—please let us know if it would bring you joy to participate in one (or more!) of these ways:

• Plan, promote, and organize event(s) in the community. Types of events could include anything from another benefit concert, to a private dinner party, to a “lunch and learn” presentation about Highly Sensitive Personality. We currently have more ideas than we can implement, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys doing the planning and coordination.

• With our current Board members being ages 40 and up, we’d love to connect with someone who could help us do social media. It would also be great to have a few social media ambassadors to regularly “like” and “share” CATHARSIS posts to help spread our reach.

• If you enjoy writing, we’d welcome you to write guest columns for this Substack! Topics could include creativity and mental health, HSP and other types of neurodivergence, stories about holistic healing, why we need a place like CATHARSIS, or any other relevant subjects that are on your heart.

• Join the Angel Investor Questers (our fundraising committee)! We’ll train you on how to build relationships throughout the community, as well as when and how to “make the ask” for donations. We have a supportive team approach with lots of positivity and a desire to learn and grow this skill set together. We check in via Zoom for 15-20 minutes most Mondays at 5:00pm.

• If you are tech savvy, I’d love to have your help with updates and improvements for our website! It is hosted by IONOS and designed using Wordpress.
